Since 1991, we have provided custom service to our clients, creating solutions for many special instruments that require strings not commonly found on the market. We can custom formulate a set of strings that is right for your special Guitar, Ukulele, Harp, Jarana, Requinto, Brazilian guitar, 5to Zapotero, 5to Sonero, and much more. There is a science and an art to what we do. Developing a string is process that includes some trial and error and some creative problem solving. It is always best to have a specific instrument in our shop to make precise measurements and observations but more importantly, to hear it and hear you play it. We can get a better idea of what you need from your instrument.
If you cannot come to Los Angeles, we are still more than happy to oblige your custom order request. Please consider that we care as much as you do about the sound of your instrument and that we will work with you to find the best solution to your query. It may take some time to test a few strings to find the best one.
Remember: There is no one way to make one string, and there are a million more ways than that to play it.
